MISSION STATEMENT:
"To Provide Operational and
Logistical Support to all
Federal, Territorial, and Municipal Emergency services, Rescue Services, and
Community aid services upon request. "
The Team:
C.E.R.T. NWT is a registered not-for-profit society within the North West Territories. We are members of the community who support the NWT in times of need.

We are members of Team Canada
Over the past 3 years members of our team have deployed to:
Peru - July-Aug 2002: One member was sent for relief operations after a series of blizzards.
Algeria - May 2003: Members were tasked to respond to Algeria after a major Earthquake, but were stood down en route.
Edmonton - September 2003: 4 members of C.E.R.T NWT deployed to Edmonton to work with Search and Rescue teams from throughout Alberta to assist in a major evidence search.
Hurricane Katrina- September 2005; 1 member, as part of Team Canada Search and Rescue, to provide Search, Rescue and Aid, medical response.
Hurricane Rita - September-October 2005; 1 member, as part of Team Canada Search and Rescue, to provide Search, Rescue, and Aid, Medical response.
Edmonton - October 2005; 1 member assisted Edmonton Regional Search and Rescue in an Evidence Search
